This year also, the Football Museum joins the national program Scoala Altfel and invites students and coordinating teachers to participate in a marathon of educational meetings.
Every Friday, from March 6 to April 26, the doors of the Football Museum open for students who want to see what Fotbalul Altfel means. Educational meetings await students with a range of activities designed to spark their curiosity as well as develop skills and teamwork.
The meetings begin with a personalized guided tour of the museum, where students and teachers will be able to admire collectibles – the evolution of the soccer ball, jerseys worn by legendary soccer players such as Hagi, Popescu, Maradona or Ronaldo, as well as other exhibits with amazing stories such as pennants, posters, magazines or even miniature football stadiums.
In addition, students will have the chance to develop their general culture and learn about professions and trades. They will learn what it means to work in a museum, what professions exist in a team, but also what are the responsibilities of each one: from curator, museographer, to event organizer, communication specialist, supervisor or seller, the children will have the chance to enter the role of professionals themselves and solve the tasks of the team members they choose to be part of, through a series of challenges and educational activities.
The meeting will end with a good portion of fun in the last of the 5 spaces dedicated to the museum, where the students will enter “the field” and score goals, put on the virtual gloves of goalkeepers or enter the role of sports commentators.
Tickets for organized groups can be purchased from www.footbalmuseum.ro as well as from the museum reception on Gabroveni 24, and the coordinating teachers benefit from March 6 to April 26 free entry, based on ID.
A prior appointment is required by email to vestiar@footballmuseum.ro or by phone at 0740.106.665.
